St. John’s can provide assistance with food preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, dressing, toileting and other ADLs. In addition, regular companionship and socialization is vital for our loved ones in helping them stay engaged and active in their lives!

St. John’s is able to file claims with some long term care policies, such as Northwestern Mutual or Davies. However, at this time we do not take Medicare and Medicaid.

Of course! We are working with people and understand that needs vary day-to-day, especially in our elderly years. Individualized care plans are written for each client, updated and monitored daily, and communicated to family members as well as the client. We EXPECT things to change, please don’t hesitate to start services fearing things change too frequently.

In an effort to stay a small, client centered home care company St. John’s does require a 4 hr. minimum for services each time a caretaker is present as well as a minimum of 20 hours of care per week. This is in an effort to keep the number of families that we work with lower and the quality of care high with regular family interaction.

St. John’s has a flat hourly rate. There are no “extras” for providing specific services within our time present. With limited overhead, we are able to keep costs at amongst the lowest in the area for your family. Call to learn more about specific hourly rates.

All our caregivers are trained in providing high quality home care. Experience in elder care is expected and investigated throughout the interview process.

Caretakers are introduced by me (Olivia) to the client after they have been selected based on the client’s needs, personality, and experience. A new caretaker will not be assigned to provide care in the home unless the family and client have been notified and approved the change.
